So, I promised to write more…second time in two weeks is a new record for me, I believe.
Not much really going on. I’m switching therapists, going from 2 visits a month to at least 2 visits a week. Apparently they think I need it. Not particularly reassuring, but…whatever.
Tried a couple new places to eat this week. One was a diner, the other a nice Chinese / Japanese place. Both were well worth it.
Saw “Dark Knight”. I really liked it. The Joker creeped me out pretty badly. Then again, it doesn’t take much to creep me out.
Church yesterday was fun, we learned about Islam. Afterwards a large group
Of us descended upon Wendy’s and grabbed some lunch. Mari (the pastor’s 11year old daughter) got stuck sitting right next to me, so I kept her well-behaved. Then it started pouring down rain outside, so everyone got soaked running to the cars, it was awesome. I wanted to play in the rain but didn’t have a change of clothes. I’ll start bringing an extra shirt with me, just in case. After that we hung out at the church till service started, and I got ill, which sucked, but was luckily short-lived. After service everyone went to get food then we watched Dr Who together
By the end of the episode it was late, so we all went home.
As far as today? Nothing exciting…just some Sudoku, some laundry, and food shopping later. After that I’ll probably put some more recipes up on here.
Ta ta for now…
Here’s a pic I took blindly.

Not many people care for shortbread cookies…this is for the few that do.
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 cup butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup of sugar
Blend the flour and the baking powder together. In a separate bowl, blend the sugar and butter. Slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar/ butter mixture.
Preheat oven to 325.
Roll dough until roughly 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 2 inch circles, or use a cookie cutter of your choice, approximately same diameter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Make a little X or fork poked pattern into the top of the cookie, no more than half way down (so it doesn’t break).
Bake at 325 degrees for 15-18 minutes, until there is a light brown color around the edges. cookies should remain close to white on the top.
Cool on wire racks. Makes about 36.
